I read your site, and found it very entertaining. I have very similar beliefs and take this whole religion(of any kind) very lightly. I am equally amused by the goth kids as I am by the Jesus for congress types. I like you never believed in a God figure beyond the time Santa and the
Tooth Fairy were exposed as impostors.  I, too, was baptized at age 8 against my wishes and later refused to be confirmed into the catholic church much to my parents' dismay (as I was forcibly attending catholic school at the time).

It took many arguments to finally convince them that I refused to be forced into an organization that I have no faith in. I believe that it would be a mockery of their religion to force me into it. I have respect for others beliefs, I find them without basis in fact, but if it makes them get from one day to the next, then hell who am I to point out that it's a
fairy tale and a collection of Jesus lawn ornaments doesn't get you a ticket to ride a cloud into the pearly gates.--we make and idol of our fear and call it god.
