| WHAT
IS THIS THIS WEB RING BUSINESS?
This
humble webring will link together, hopefully, many webpages about Tony
Slattery. Webring.org are just
awwwwwwwwwwesome to allow people to use this, eh? Anyhoo, this humble
webring is run by me, STuPiDGiRL.
WHO
CAN JOIN?
Well,
I would hope it's apparent that sites with content relating to Tony Slattery
can join the ring. :-) OK, maybe that's a bit vague, I understand
sugah. Maybe you have many pages on your website and one small one
about Tony? Well, that's ok...you can always have the webring point
to that page. Just remember, there has to be Tony Slattery content.
Just ask yourself: Would a Tony Slattery fan be interested in perusing
this site? Coolness eh? Of course, there are some other rules
as well:
-
Sites
with no Tony Slattery content whatsoever.
-
Tony Slattery
fan with a webpage about their pet rock and no Tony Slattery content or
just a brief mention of him.
-
Sites
with adult content or something that's really offensive to others(no porn or KKK).
-
Sites
about TV shows he's been on but make no mention of him on the website (i.e.
a 'Whose Line is it Anyway?' page that mentions Tony Slattery's existence).
HOW
TO JOIN
To
submit your site for the humble webring, go to:
http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=tony_slattery;addform
You
can fill out a nifty form whilst there and be put in the queue for the
webring. It will also provide you with the code (HTML fragment) to
place on your page. Likewise, you will need to download these two
pictures and put them on your server:
Picture
1 - 100 x 100 pixels
Picture
2 - 100 x 139 pixels
These
pictures are used for the webring.
I suggest
using Notepad or some other text editor to place the code on your webpage.
WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors tend to muck up the code.
After
you submit your site I will check it out and, if your site is appropriate
and you have the code correctly displayed on your page, you'll be added
to the ring. If everything is not coolness and you are not added
to the ring, I'll e-mail you and let you know why. You are always
free to submit your site again.
CHANGING
YOUR DETAILS
If
things get really screwed up and a problem occurs or you just need to update
your site's info, go to:
http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=tony_slattery;edit
If
you are completely and utterly lost, e-mail me at webmistress. |
